Jill Zimmerman spent years in Hollywood chasing the acting dream. She did many guest star roles on Tv shows , most notably Everybody Loves Raymond. She was last seen locally in Clybourne Park at 6th St Playhouse in 2015. Prior to that she started in Proof, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and August: Osage County, where she won best actress at the SFBATCC Awards that year. She is a proud mother of two teenage boys and is thrilled to be working with the talented groups of artists at Left Edge Theater.
Lydia Revelos is grateful to be back at Left Edge following her last appearance at Andie in Honky and is a big fan of this theater! In the last year you may have seen her get her head cut off as Marie Antoinette in The Revolutionists at 6th Street Playhouse, walk a mile in Spreckles’ The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and have a nervous breakdown in Main Stage West’s Body Awareness. Other recent favorites include Rapture, Blister, Burn, Animal Crackers, The Sugar Bean Sisters & Betrayal. A native of southwest Ohio, she holds an BFA from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College. Thank you & love to friends and family everywhere!
Mike Pavone has been acting in the North Bay since he relocated from Los Angeles in 2001. He worked in Hollywood as a writer, producer, director and actor in television and film for thirty-years. He decided to leave LA the day he got there but he kept getting work for some reason. Mike was delighted to get back to Northern California where he was raised, in San Mateo. Mike discovered he wasn’t very good at golf when he retired so he decided community theater was the next best thing. Mike loves working with the Left Edge Theater and has played parts in several productions there that he can no longer remember… It’s lousy getting old but the parts are good.
Samuel Ademola is a Nigerian born actor, screenwriter and comedian who was raised in San Francisco. He has received training from San Jose State University’s acting program and Charlie Holliday in Sacramento. Samuel has been featured in local commercials, stage productions, and independent films. Recent stage credits from 2018 are A Time to Kill and We Need to Talk. Between Riverside and Crazy will be his first stage production this year and he is thrilled to join the ensemble cast. While off stage, Samuel can also be seen in the upcoming independent film First Date and performing at local standup comedy clubs.
Since returning to theatre after a hiatus for graduate school, Serena Elize Flores has performed on several stages in the Bay Area. Some of her favorite roles include Yaz (Water by the Spoonful), Columbia (The Rocky Horror Show), Jenny Diver (The Threepenny Opera), Ginger (Becky’s New Car), Rose Alvarez (Bye Bye Birdie), Mathilde (The Clean House), The Witch (Big Fish), Anita (West Side Story), Marlena Madison (Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story), Lucy (Your a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Chiffon (Little Shop of Horrors), Tiger Lily (Peter Pan), Nickie (Sweet Charity), and Francine/Lena (Clybourne Park) for which she received a 2015 Best Actress nomination from the Theatre Bay Area Awards. When not performing she can be found frolicking on her 4 acres with her husband, 2 dogs, and 9 chickens.
Skylar is an actor, director, and lighting designer by night who daylights as a residential electrician. Favorite acting roles include: Macbeth, Freddy (Noises Off), Rosencrantz (Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead), and Nick (Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolf?). He's grateful to have the opportunity to immerse himself in Nottage's work with this team; both for the creative outlet, as well as for the sense of community and connection during this isolated time.
